Autoresponder & Payment Processor
When it comes to autoresponders, "best" becomes a relative term.

For example, I use a self-hosted mailing script called Sendy, because it best fills my needs and I am comfortable working with it.

However, I could not in good conscience ever recommend a self-hosted autoresponder solution to someone who is not comfortable installing server-based scripts and dealing with advanced settings.
Fortunately, I too was once uninitiated. I didn't have the experience required to run those types of scripts, so like the vast majority of marketers, I used a hosted solution that met all of my needs.

For complete transparency, I believe that Aweber and GetResponse are by far the two very best autoresponders offered on the web.

I choose GetResponse over Aweber because by default it provides more functionality and ease of use than its main competitor and works out to be lower cost.

Don't worry if you don't know anything about autoresponders, I'll get that fully covered for you a bit later. For now, our goal is just to get all of your basics set up and ready so that we have you properly positioned to immediately "open" your business to the public and hopefully get a little money flowing your way!

Payment Processor

As far as payment processors go, you likely already have yours in place. PayPal.

PayPal is the main payment processor in the entire online world.

Sure, there are others, and many are pretty good, and those are fine to set up an account with just in case you get a buyer who lives in a country that PayPal does not support... But those are actually few and far between, so you absolutely want PayPal as your main processor.

On the other hand, if you live in a country that PayPal doesn't support, then you are going to be forced to use an alternative provider.

So if this is the case for you, just do a search for "PayPal alternative" and you'll get a good number of alternates and should pretty easily find one that supports your country.

Your sales volume will be lower when you do not have PayPal as your primary option. It is still worth it, you just won't make as many sales because people like me tend to "move on" if an offer does not provide a PayPal option.
